No, I'm not talking about aliens, spirits, or conspiracy theories. I'm just talking about the tiny little details that you cannot include into your life "plan." Those moments where you step back and say, "Mann, that was completely unexpected but very much welcomed!"
Well that's how I feel about my life right now...but moving onto even better unexplained events. The folklore section at the IU library is HIDDEN! Seriously, it took me forever to seriously find that section. I made out with some awesome books though....and some funny ones. They have all kinds of different ones so I just picked out a few to start with:

Pathfinder Beginnings Learning to Learn Searching
Pathfinder.... The path to find things...
I randomly picked a topic, seriously, I selected the first thing that popped in my head. I do not know if that's still a good thing or bad thing. I'll take you on my journey of what I found as "relevant" sources in my searches today.
Let's just see what I came up with using Google, and a single IU database:
This first one was just doing a random search of Google.
This one was using the medieval database located in IU
A few better results using different labels in Google.
This was my favorite one using Google Books. The one that got cut off was "Why you should avoid being a knight." That was hilarious.
So first off, I'm not sure if I would highly recommend Google on my path of finding great medieval resources. I will have to refine some things, and IU database had A LOT more relevant stuff, but again this was only the beginning! I have a lot more tricks up my sleeve~

"Iron Sharpens Iron"
I recently read a thought-provoking anecdote about how we should use this certain truth to find friends. In the experience of choosing friends one should try and find friends who inspire you to be better than you currently are. You could be that person who is sharp and yet never really utilizes your skill. As time goes by you risk becoming dull and rusty. Who wants to be around something of no use? We as humans rid ourselves of things that are of no "use" to us. Everyone needs someone in their life who is stronger than you--or as strong as you that will continually help sharpen you into something greater.
It may seem idealistic to some, but that's at least the idea I received when b.honey asked me to start a blog. She's that friend who makes you want to be the best professional colleague in your field. So here I am off to start writing about adventures concerning library school and graduate life~
