This part always seems like the longest to me... It takes forever for the toffee to melt.

I recently made a banana-coconut cream pie:





I have to say it turned out very well! I finally learned patience enough to wait until the "cream" came to a "BOIL"... and not just mini bubbles. I think next time, I'll toast the crust to see if it will be even more "crispy."
